Dallas, TX, March 21, 2001 - High-end computer and video game publisher GodGames (www.godgames.com), a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ-TTWO), today announced the development of Rune: Halls of Valhalla, the official multiplayer expansion pack for the highly acclaimed PC game Rune. It can be played as both a stand-alone multiplayer game, as well as an expansion to the original. Rune: Halls of Valhalla will be published for the PC by GodGames and distributed by Jack of All Games for a suggested retail price of $19.99.
Rune: Halls of Valhalla offers players a chance to satiate their bloodlust with frenzied multiplayer action, two new modes (Headball and Arena) and additional maps, along with a multitude of new, animated creatures including three new fearsome female characters. The Headball mode is a team based sports game in which players rend the limbs or heads of their enemies and score points by throwing them through a goal. It's kill or be killed in the Arena mode as gamers compete in one-on-one duels against varying opponents. Fans of the original game can expand their multiplayer play with the host of expanded new content, while Viking virgins will have access to the original multiplayer maps and characters featured in Rune. Similar to the original game, Rune: Halls of Valhalla will utilize an enhanced version of Epic Games' Unreal Tournament game engine and will feature amazingly life-like animations, a detailed weapon system and a unique combat system. Rune: Halls of Valhalla Features Include:- Two new play modes: Headball and Arena and a host of new characters.
- Online multiplayer play with access to all the original maps and characters featured in Rune as well as expanded, new content.
- Original in-game music content created exclusively for Rune: Halls of Valhalla.
- 33 new maps available across all game modes including seven maps designed by fans.
- Improved Internet code.
- New combat style with added defensive options such as the ability to deflect thrown weapons and improved shields.

Goblin Of Truth Mutator
by Za0oO [9:21 am PT - Mar. 14, 2001]
"You can get your very own cut-price Goblin of Truth, it doesn't sing, dance or tell stories. No your Goblin of Truth Statue will providen limitless enjoyment and the ability to see into the future!"
Basically a mutator which replaces the Goblin Statue with a Goblin of Truth Statue. Ask a question and stroke the Goblin (gently please!) and he will answer! (In time honoured 8-Ball fashion). To grab this once in a lifetime fashion accesory (all the cool boys and girls have one!). Click here to get it.
NB: Goblin of Truth has not been tested and may not function correctly (report all bugs here or to my e-mail address). Please keep out of the way of reanimation spells and house-hold pets. In the event of an accident find a large axe.
